TW: rape
This is a song about a rapist. I'm sick of the rapists on the punk scene who get away with it. I feel completely helpless to do anything about it. I was triggered two days ago quite badly and I managed to process it through writing a song.
Do you even know what you did?
Do you know how much you hurt me?
The last time I saw you in the street
I pretended I was still your friend
But after the pain you put me through
I wouldn't care if you were dead
And now is it on me to tell you what you did
I can't keep going on like I'm still your friend
When I see people praising you
I'm reminded you're a dickhead
I'm a forest fire
Can someone please come put me out
Sugar burning on the stove
Someone please put me out

In The Pale Moonlight

This is a song about a space dinner party I went to with Bejamin Sisko, Hannah Arendt and Walter Benjamin. It was interrupted by Cardassians.
In the pale moonlight
You go
I betray everything I've ever stood for
You keep me up til midnight
You stick around
Right, looks like I'm gonna sleep well tonight
Instrumental violence
Keeping us all together
We've all got the same aims
We all see the same stars
What do I do now, what do I do now
What do I do now, what do I do now
In the pale moonlight
We go
You betray
Everything you've ever stood for
I get to the station at five am
And stick around
You might as well have pushed me away
But here I stay
Instrumental violence
Keeping us all together
We've all got the same aims
We all see the same stars
Instrumental violence
Violence has a use
Hannah and Benny
well, they know the truth
What do I do now, where do I go now
What do I do now, what do I do now?
